HPV is one of the most common sexually transmitted infections. It
affects both men and women; most infected people do not even know that
they have it.
Diagnosis is made by collection of cervical smear. Some types of HPV can cause cervical cancer. We are currently undertaking a study to evaluate how well the vaccine works in a drug which is currently being marketed in women over the age of 26. The study is now in its 6th year and we recruited fifty ladies into it.
