Often referred to as diabetes, this condition is a metabolic disorder which leads to high levels of sugar in the blood. This happens when a person does not make enough Insulin or the cells do not respond to Insulin that is made.There are different types of Diabetes like Type1,2, gestational diabetes, pre-diabetes. It is a chronic condition and there is no cure.

Diabetes is a very common condition in this country and there are various treatments available to treat the same. The main symptoms are increased thirst, frequent urination and increased hunger. It is extremely important to treat Diabetes correctly as it leads to both short term and long term problems. In the short term, patients can suffer from diabetes coma, low glucose levels due to treatment and dehydration. Chronic problems are associated with an increase in other diseases like heart disease, kidney failure, peripheral vascular disease, blindness and stroke. We have conducted several studies in diabetes and the team is guided by experts in diabetes management.
