Senior Clinical Research Physicians


SALARY - £70 - £75K Depending on experience. Discretionary Bonus Scheme   LOCATIONS: Northwood, Sidcup, Romford and West Yorkshire

This is an great opportunity for an experienced Clinical Research Physician who has acted as Principal and Co investigator in trials, has a strong commercial acumen and is keen to play an important role in driving success within MeDiNova Research. Job Responsibilities

  • To have experience and expertise to act as Co-Investigator and Principal Investigator
  • To undertake all aspects of the work required of the Research Physician in studies and report to the Medical Director
  • To accept responsibility for all sponsor research studies
  • To comply with ICH/GCP at all times
  • To provide the Centre Director feedback on patients’ suitability, review telephone screening and liaise with the lead Centre
  • To establish and maintain relationships with local GPs and consultants
  • Respond to patients’ concerns – procedures and new drugs
  • To spend adequate time with Clinical Research Associates
  • To regularly educate the team on essential medical information and protocols
  • To motivate, encourage and train Research Nurses and Clinical Trial staff to take on additional responsibilities
  • Keep abreast of medical literature
  • Actively seek information about new studies and competitors and share with colleague
  • Acting as an out of hours on call Physician when required

Skills/qualifications and experience required for the job:

  • Fully qualified, GMC registered Physician with at least 2 years’ experience within clinical research
  • Phase 2 and Phase 3 Trials exposure preferable
  • Full knowledge of GCP in practice
  • Have a wide range of general medical experience
  • Teamworking with colleagues, solution oriented and supportive
  • High level of attention to detail re patient information and dealing with queries efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £70,000.00 – £75,000 pa full time based on experience

Excellent benefits package comprising Performance related bonus, pensions, study holiday and allowances for CPD.

Part time opportunities also available for minimum of 3 days ( salary pro rata)
