Two new research sites were opened in the UK at Cambridgeshire and Wokingham. These sites have collaborations with GP Super-hubs, Lakeside Group and Modality Group, who have large patient databases. 

Mores MSA’s signed with leading Pharma’s and CRO’s during the year.

MeDiConsult in Romania joins the MeDiNova family. 

European sites networks expanded with 10 sites in Poland with Pratia Group and MCM in Krakow. Pratia has significant links with Pharmacies throughout the country. 

Bulgaria joins the MeDiNova family with two new sites.

MDP Group in Russia joins our global network with nine sites over three major cities with a patient population of over 20million with good patient records.

Significant strengthening of the global team with over 50 new appointments made.

Collaboration agreed with BTC Network in the US providing access to 33 sites within their own network and a further 200 sites in the US and overseas via their associated company, Clinedge.


Expanded our UK capabilities with two new sites, entered into a strategic partnership in the USA, expanded the South Africa Network and established a Midlands office.

Senior Management Team strengthens with four major appointments in the year, all highly respected and leaders within the clinical research industry.

MeDiNova is recognised as a Designated Body by the UK General Medical Council and a Training Body by the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine.

Lakeside Healthcare Group and MeDiNova formed a joint venture and opened a new site in Corby, UK. This provides access to patients from Northamptonshire and Peterborough.

Lovelace Clinical Research in New Mexico, USA, joined the global network, having strong historic experience particularly in the area of respiratory research.

Our Research Site at Kenilworth opened serving patients in Warwickshire and the West Midlands. This site has close links to the Abbey Medical Practice.

We added 17 further sites to our South African site network, taking us to market leader in SA with 33 excellent research sites.

Additional sites in Leganes and Seville from Spain join the MeDiNova network of sites.


Expanded our worldwide capabilities by bringing in 16 dedicated research sites in South Africa into the MeDiNova Global Family under the strong leadership of Dr M Siddique Tayob and Yvette Erasmus.

Our Yorkshire site opened in Shipley with a community population of 25,000 patients, This site works with the Pharmacists group, Prescribing Support Services, who engage with patients in GP’s via their embedded pharmacists.


MeDiNova expanded into Spain, opening a dedicated research centre in Madrid under the leadership of Viggo Birch.

Our third UK site was established at Romford, East London.


Our South London Site opened in Sidcup at Queen Mary’s Hospital.

The North London Site facilities were expanded with further space, equipment and resources.


MeDiNova  is bought out by new shareholders who strengthen the management team to begin its development into a strong Clinical Trials company in the UK.


Our first research site opened in Northwood, London at Mount Vernon Hospital, by local GP Dr Naren Savani and Jennie Drewett. Jennie continues to develop MeDiNova as a non-executive director.
